Services Provided

Washing

All rugs will be initially cleaned to remove excess Mud and Hair and routinely treated with a disinfectant which is recognised to protect against bacteria, fungi and influenza strains that are common to horses. All rugs are then washed at a low temperature according to manufacturer’s instructions using NixWax Rug Wash which removes any detergent residues left behind by previous washes , it is Water Based - environmentally friendly, biodegradable, non flammable & non hazardous reducing any allergic reactions.

Re-proofing

We offer you the option to have your outdoor rugs re-proofed using Nikwax products. This helps to ensure that your rugs remain waterproof and breathable, keeping your horse dry, warm and comfortable in wet weather.
If you own an expensive set of rugs it makes sense to look after your investment which will last many years longer with the correct treatment.

Drying

We dry all rugs in a purpose built drying room which has thermostatically regulated temperatures. This guarantees you the fastest service because it is non weather dependent ,and avoids any shrinkage.

Repairs

After each rug is washed and dried any repairs required are carried out in house. Whilst we make every effort to match the type and colour of your material / Strapping, for an exact match you may be required to source the required amount from your rug manufacturer. We charge a minimum repair charge of €/£5.00, however we will advise you in advance if the extent of the repair will exceed this, or if we feel that your rug is beyond repair.
In the interest of hygiene, we do not carry out repairs on rugs unless they are machine washed first.

Packaging

Once the rugs are dry and repairs completed where necessary, they are folded, individually poly wrapped, sized and labelled for your convenience ensuring that your rugs remain clean, dry and easily identifiable for when you need them.

Collection & Delivery

 We provide a free collection & delivery service for bulk orders within the NorthWest and for Riding Clubs, Pony Clubs, Yards and Riding Schools, we also have a number of Drop Off and Pick Up locations at equestrian Outlets in Co Donegal, Derry, Tyrone and Antrim please check our Drop off points for the details.
